The deltoid has three distinct heads — front, side, rear — and pressing movements alone mostly train the front head. Side and rear delts need direct isolation work (lateral raises, face pulls, rear-delt flyes) or they lag behind, which is the most common cause of shoulders that look underdeveloped despite heavy pressing numbers.
